In coop play, it's generally a good idea to station a scout at your ally's important cities so you can atleast help them with your spells during important battles.It's been over a decade since a new Age of Wonders release. (These appear to be the "Wonders" in AoW4 - no idea how event battles work.) The only exception is explorable dungeons that can only be directly engaged with a single party/stack. "Allied Victory" is a game setting that allows players on the same team or alliance to win together once all other players(ai or human) are defeated/a victory condition is achieved.Ĭonversely, if you want to do a coop survival game against a super hostile world without enemy 'players', you'll need to disable allied victory if you want to be allied with your coop partner(s).
